Airports are unique as no two airports are alike. Designed in the only way of its kind, as a single facility, each is occupied by many different tenants who provide many different services. Every service may include one or more information systems, both automated and manual, running independently from all others.

The need to share and exchange information effectively and on time between airport services and systems is vital when maintaining an efficient, safe and secure airport. This also counts for other airport facilities or outside organizations and government agencies.

Over the years Comsys has developed multiple flight and airport information systems based on the SpeechFrame® IVR system.

SpeechFrame® platform is based on Java Technology, enabling the greatest flexibility to customers.

The platform is internally designed in several layers. The top layer is designed so that the customer can determine the applications, far removed from the technical implementation. The applications are written in XML equivalents such as VoiceXML and CCXML. The system is able to interact with any backoffice system and supports many different interfaces. It is also able to handle all sorts of telephony standards.
