Tele2 buys SpeechFrame® for European IVR Services
 Soesterberg, March 2006
Telecom provider Tele2 will use SpeechFrame® of Comsys for Interactive
Voice Response (IVR) services across Europe. Pre-paid and post-paid
customers of Tele2 will soon be able to use SpeechFrame® to check or
recharge their account and make use of voicemail.
Country and language- independent, SpeechFrame® is based on VoiceXML,
the flexible web-programming language. SpeechFrame® offers in addition
a VoiceXML GUI which makes it easy to develop applications and/or
modify them in any way desired. Moreover, due to the open JAVA based
SpeechFrame® architecture, new functionalities and services can easily
be adapted, such as mobile streaming video.
Diederik Husslage, business development manager at Comsys: "Comsys
SpeechFrame® product is a high qualified telecommunications platform
that has already been implemented all over the European continent. The
agreement with Tele2 shows that Comsys is a leader in the field of
IVR's and speech controlled self-service solutions. This is a major
step ahead in reinforcing our position in the European
telecommunications market."
