The SpeechFrame based solution of Comsys for the SMS to Fixed service is fully in-line with the KPN strategy for the coming years. The new environment is based on all the latest technology. It contains a new TTS voice with better quality pronunciation. The throughput will be doubled which increases the delivery speed and the service to customers of KPN. The amount of servers will be decreased using modern hardware and the energy consumption will be lower.
Walter Botman, Managing Director at Comsys Telecom & Media: “KPN is a customer of Comsys for a long time for different services and solutions, with the decision of KPN to choose Comsys for the renewal of the SMS to Fixed we extend the good business relationship in the future.”

This is combined with SMPP, a MAP and a UBS interface, to receive and send SMS from and towards the fixed and mobile phones. For the TTS the engine of Nuance is used.
