Thuiszorg Service Nederland chooses the Comsys IVR

Almelo, Soesterberg, July 2011 – Thuiszorg Service Nederland (Home Care Service Netherlands) has chosen the IVR system of Comsys Telecom & Media B.V. for automated registration of visits.

Thuiszorg Service Nederland (TSN) is the largest home care specialist in the Netherlands with over 23,000 employees and 40 offices throughout the Netherlands. TSN is always looking for oppertunities to improve the way of working for their employees and to make the administration as easy as possible. One of these items is the administration of visits to customers.

The Asito Service Group which is the owner of TSN has chosen the Comsys IVR to automate the registration of customer visits. The employees simply call the IVR application and type in their personal details to register the visit. The IVR then sends this information to the SAP environment of the TSN organization over a SOAP interface. In this way, registration is fully automated and integrated with TSN’s back-office systems. This saves time for the employees and this time can be better spent on the core business of TSN: Providing home care to people.

Gijs Houtzagers, Head of ICT at Asito Service Group: “Comsys provides a reliable system that will put an end to the current manual processing of the timesheets of 20.000 employees. Currently 70.000 timesheets are processed on a four-weekly bases; Comsys will automate 100% this process after a transition phase of three months. I suspect that we will implement more of the functionality of Comsys platform in the near future”.

The interactive voice response application is built using the Comsys IVR system which is based on the SpeechFrame platform. This is a platform that has been fully developed by Comsys for the development of interactive services and solutions. It makes use of all the modern technologies such as vXML, cc-XML, java and SOAP. The platform is fully web based and can be expanded with a graphical Service Creation Environment. The platform supports many different interfaces and various protocols.
