Comsys takes first steps on the Asian market with partner Tele Nusa Dunia
Soesterberg, November 2005
Comsys signed a partner agreement with the Indonesian telecom company
Tele Nusa Dunia. Two companies operating within this holding, Smartweb
and TSSC will be introducing SpeechFrame® on the Indonesian market.
Tele
nusa Dunia is established at Jakarta and is amongst other things active
in the area of telecommunications information technology and security
systems. Web technologies are still in an early stage in Indonesia, but
applications like SMS and Interactive Voice Response are very popular.
Smartweb and TSSC will be offering the complete line of SpeechFrame®
products – at first only in Indonesia, but possibly in a later stadium
also in Vietnam and Australia.
With
this agreement Comsys will be making the first steps on the Asian
market. Dick Bakker, CEO at Comsys, is obviously very pleased. We
consider this agreement as an important stepup to the Far East.
Indonesia itself is just as big as Europe, so a large market can be
accessed over there. The solid knowledge that Tele Nusa Dunia has of
the Indonesian market will be a big advantage. Because SpeechFrame® is
based on web technology it can be adopted quickly and can be supplied
by the Indonesians themselves.
Willem
Ouwens, founder of the Tele Nusa Dunia Group: "We were looking for a
successful established supplier of IVR systems for the Indonesian
market and we are very pleased with the accomplished cooperation with
Comsys. First, we expect a growing demand in the market for all kinds
of voice response applications (including IVR-solutions) and secondly
Comsys is leader in offering state-of-the-art web based IVR systems and
applications. This partnership between Comsys and PT Tele Nusa Dunia
certainly will be successful, especially in this segment of the
Indonesian market.”
